Goody Two Shoes

Gemma and I got some new shoes. I felt like that was worth a whole blog post no? I mean if your shoes sparkled wouldn’t you want to tell the world? I’ve been eyeing this brand, Veja, for a while now and finally took the plunge on this rose gold pair of sneakers. I’m so so glad that I did too because it’s such a swerve from my typically basic white sneaker look. (You can find them here!) To be honest, I liked the look of Veja before I actually knew anything about them. Crafted from leather sourced from Rio Grande do Sul farms and tanned according to REACH norms, the lining is made from organic cotton and the soles are wild rubber. They strive to be sustainably made and all of their packaging is post-consumer recycled and can be recycled again. My shoes aren’t the only ones with a nice backstory: G’s shoes are Treasure and Bond, which gives back 2.5% of net sales to organizations that work to empower youth. In fact, all of Treasure & Bond’s line donates to youth empowerment programs! (You can read more here.) So I rounded up a few of my favorite kid items from Treasure and Bond below! Gemma approved, but not quite her size yet. 😉

So I found the brand Reformation this summer with a skirt and a top and I just absolutely love their pieces. I gave this dress a shot and the fit is spot on. I’m in the medium by the way. I kind of want it now in the emerald green color for fall. Imagine that hue with a suede jacket? Gorgeous right? Well it’s on my wish list for sure. Reformation is also a brand that is responsibly manufactured. Made in the USA, this dress is made from eco-friendly jersey which gives it double the points because not only is it cute but it’s nice to the environment too. (Plus Reformation pieces last! They are high quality pieces that will last season over season.)  You can find my dress here! Or find all of Reformation here. I rounded up my favorite Reformation pieces below! (Um yes there are A LOT Of favorites.)
